Installation

Installs in under 5 minutes.

Only simple tools are required: a drill with a 5 mm drill bit and a rivet gun.

1 Drilling out the existing top rivet with a 5 mm drill bit

Drill out the existing top rivet

Use a 5 mm drill bit to carefully drill out the existing top rivet.

2 Countersunk rivet and countersunk round magnet ready for installation

Assemble the rivet and magnet

Fit the supplied countersunk rivet through the separate countersunk round magnet.

3 Installing the countersunk rivet and magnet using a rivet gun

Install the top fixing

Make sure the countersunk side of the magnet faces towards the rivet gun, then secure the rivet.

4 Installing the lower rivet and magnet fixing

Repeat for the bottom rivet

Drill out the bottom rivet and repeat the same fixing process.

5 Both countersunk round magnets installed on the aluminium door

Check the two magnets

Confirm both countersunk round magnets are secure and aligned.

6 WindSeal cover attached over the latch opening

Attach WindSeal

Place the cover onto the magnets to seal the latch opening.
